3:26Now PlayingA Russian artist, who had been known for mocking President Vladimir Putin, was shot dead in eastern Poland, police said, adding that two Belarusians have been arrested.
The 44-year-old victim, identified as Semyon Skrepetsky, was shot on a street near the city center Monday morning and later died of his injuries, Anadolu Agency quoted the police. It is interesting to note that just before Skrepetsky’s killing he took part in a protest outside the Russian embassy in Berlin. Images even circulated on social media showing him carrying artwork depicting Soviet leader Joseph Stalin feeding a baby Putin.
