Remote villages such as Gwalgundi, Kasibahara, Amatola and other villagers have finally received electricity. These remote villages had been without electricity for 78 yearsafter India's independence.Under the Chief Minister's Electrification Scheme, a 47-kilometre-long 11kV power line worth ₹3.82 crore is being laid to connect several more remote villages to the power grid, ensuring round-the-clock electricity.
