TRUMP LIVE: Trump Drops BOMBSHELL, Massive Strike on Iran ORDERED? World Holds Breath | US IRAN NEWS

In a dramatic escalation of the West Asia conflict, the United States and Iran have traded heavy military strikes, pushing the region to the brink of full-scale war and threatening the fragile Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on June 17, 2026. Following a drone attack on the Singapore-flagged commercial vessel M/V Ever Lovely in the Strait of Hormuz on June 25, U.S. President Donald Trump ordered decisive retaliatory airstrikes on June 26 and 27, targeting ten Iranian military locations including air defense sites, communication systems, and drone storage facilities near Sirik. President Trump issued a stark warning on social media, stating that if Iran continues to violate the ceasefire, the U.S. would 'militarily finish the job' and the Islamic Republic 'will no longer exist.' In response, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched retaliatory ballistic missile and drone attacks targeting U.S. military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain on June 28, declaring that American forces would 'experience hell.' However, in a major diplomatic breakthrough early on June 29, senior officials from both nations confirmed they have agreed to temporarily stand down and halt all kinetic activity. Emergency technical talks are now scheduled to resume in Doha, Qatar, on Tuesday, June 30, in a desperate bid to preserve the ceasefire and ensure the free movement of commercial vessels through the critical Strait of Hormuz shipping corridor.
