US NEWS LIVE: DOJ Unveils Alleged IRGC Plot Targeting Trump | WORLD NEWS | TRUMP | KASH PATEL

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, led by FBI Director Kash Patel, have unsealed critical intelligence and legal updates regarding an active, highly coordinated plot by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targeting President Donald Trump and other high-ranking U.S. officials. This follows a series of grave warnings from Israeli intelligence, which recently shared fresh, specific details with Washington suggesting that Tehran has devised a new plan to assassinate President Trump. Tensions have reached a boiling point as the U.S.-Iran ceasefire officially unravels, prompting Trump to declare that he has left standing orders for the U.S. military to completely decimate Iran if he is harmed. The federal government’s ongoing crackdown on transnational repression has already led to the high-profile conviction of IRGC asset Asif Merchant for a murder-for-hire terror scheme on American soil. As Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran's new Supreme Leader, vows harsh retaliation and the red flags of vengeance fly in Mashhad, the FBI and Secret Service remain on high alert to neutralize active threats to the Commander-in-Chief.
