9:28Now PlayingPolish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said the 'next 100 days' could decide the Ukraine war - and suggested it was only a '50-50' chance for Kiev - during a press conference in Lublin on Thursday. "I will, together with the Prime Minister, consider how to provide further assistance as quickly as possible for Ukraine, also with additional Patriots if needed, because our intention is for Ukraine not to lose this war," he said.
Speaking after talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Tusk said Poland's security was 'inseparable' from ongoing conflict in Ukraine. "If the Ukrainians had much more of what they are constantly asking for, perhaps that ballistic missile would not have flown into Poland," he stated.
He also warned that the next '100 days' could prove decisive for the outcome of the conflict, saying decisions by US President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk could have a major impact on Kiev's ability to defend itself. "The next 100 days could decide the outcome of this war. It's 50-50," Tusk said. Earlier, Tusk suggested a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile was behind an explosion near the village of Lublin - around 60 miles from the border with Ukraine - but also refused to say Moscow definitely was to blame.
