20:22Now PlayingPresident Donald Trump is again moving to restrict birthright citizenship in the U.S., despite the Supreme Court previously rejecting his administration’s attempt to end it for children of undocumented or temporarily present immigrants. Trump announced two new immigration actions, including tighter restrictions on “birth tourism.” The 14th Amendment broadly grants citizenship to people born in the United States, and Trump’s earlier order was blocked by lower courts before the Supreme Court ruled against it. Trump also announced plans to support U.S. polysilicon production through possible tariffs and minimum import prices. Polysilicon is vital for semiconductors and solar panels.
