Nearly 260,000 people in Kagoshima and Okinawa have been ordered to evacuate, while more than 500 flights were cancelled. The storm is also affecting Kyushu, with Kumamoto facing additional risks after a recent deadly earthquake. Dolphin is expected to cross the East China Sea and potentially make landfall between China’s Zhejiang and Fujian provinces, where a yellow typhoon alert has been issued.
