According to CNN, Hunter Biden said the cancer had “spread, metastasized into his bones and further” and described his father’s condition as extremely painful and debilitating.
The disclosure comes more than a year after Biden’s cancer diagnosis was made public. His family had initially said the disease was aggressive but hormone-sensitive, a factor that can allow doctors to manage the cancer with treatment.
Biden has largely stayed away from the spotlight since leaving the White House in January 2025. But he has continued to make occasional public appearances and speak on political issues.
