Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow could take additional security measures in response, while Russia continues to assess developments involving NATO’s northern flank. The Kremlin also said it did not rule out renewed trilateral talks between Russia, the United States and Ukraine, following recent contacts by U.S. negotiators in Kyiv and Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin is also scheduled to meet acting Dagestan head Fyodor Shchukin.
