"As the birthplace of colonialism, Europe has largely lost these capabilities. Now the United States is fully demonstrating them, plunging Europe into a deep energy and food crisis. Europe will probably be impacted more than anyone else by the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz. Beyond that, bans on Russian gas and oil imports mean switching to US liquefied natural gas, which is dramatically more expensive. European budgets will therefore come under an even heavier strain, on top of the hundreds of billions of euros Europe is pouring into Ukraine for it to continue the European-driven aggression against Russia," Lavrov explained.
