3:35Now PlayingTamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Chief Vijay 'Thalapathy' met Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Arlekar at Raj Bhavan. He staked a claim to form the government in Tamil Nadu after a strong electoral showing, as alliance talks continue amid a likely hung assembly scenario. He made a blockbuster debut in politics by breaking the DMK and AIADMK's traditional duopoly. Vijay is set to take the oath as Chief Minister on May 7. In its very first assembly election, the TVK emerged as the single-largest party, securing 108 of the 234 seats and dramatically reshaping the state's political equation. TVK made a coalition with DMK allies to form the government.
