as posted by the channel

Cheesecake Factory workers are exposing a shocking lack of safety, overwork, poverty wages. Roark Capital, a private equity firm that controls 650K fast food workers, bought the chain in 2020. Employees worked 12-hour days, 6-day weeks during the pandemic and were pressured to work sick.

Roark Capital is a massive private equity firm named after the main character from Ayn Rand’s book The Fountainhead. It owns $33 billion in assets — including Baskin Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy Johns, and Sonic. Roark is one of the largest low-wage employers.
