as posted by the channelEXCLUSIVE: Leaked footage reveals Starbucks continues to harass a 19-year-old union-leader. Laila Dalton was disciplined for wearing earbuds while working in a closed Phoenix cafe. Workers say Starbucks has invented violations to punish employees since the union went public.
Laila Dalton was previously disciplined by Starbucks management in January as the union was going public. The NLRB issued a complaint today, March 15, finding validity in the union’s charge that Starbucks illegally retaliated against Laila. A hearing has been scheduled for June 14.
Starbucks workers at Laila’s store will vote to unionize April 5-19.
