Seeking listener and viewer feedback. Lately I've been experimenting with solo episodes where I discuss (and sometimes rant) about certain topics. Some recent examples include: The Miracle of Forgiveness episode, the Patrick Mason Fireside episode, and the Questions for Richard Bushman episode.

Here's the concern. Sometimes I tend to get a bit rambly and/or ranty in these episodes. Sometimes I get so angry/passionate that I feel bad afterwards and feel like I need to take it down and/or re-record the episode. Some listeners/viewers really seem to like those episodes, and others feel like they are unproductive and/or off brand for Mormon Stories.

I'm not quite sure what to do. Should I keep Mormon Stories Podcast to just stories? Should I do solo episodes? What is best for the podcast overall?

I'd love everyone's feedback if you feel comfortable sharing.

Thanks.

John
