6:08Now PlayingIn a special edition of “Fallback Friday”, Senator Richard Blumenthal joins legendary comedian Lizz Winstead and Ari Melber, becoming the first-ever Senator to appear on the segment. Winstead calls out Kanye West for enlisting musician Kenny G to perform for Kim Kardashian on Valentine’s Day. Senator Blumenthal weighs in, saying he does in fact consider Kenny G a “legitimate” choice for Valentine’s day, noting “any music in the right context, is legitimate romance music”. Senator Blumenthal also says some of his colleagues in Congress “need to take a deep breath” on the “Green New Deal” proposal, that he has co-sponsored with fellow House and Senate Democrats, noting that the Republican focus on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s association with the “Green New Deal” is a way to “personalize it”.
