After the signing, Trump said that people have been asking him to run for a third term and repeated claims that there is a method to do so, but he said he hasn't explored it. “Now people are asking me to run," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. "They do say there’s a way you can do it, but I don’t know about that — but I have not looked into it." Trump told NBC News in an exclusive interview over the weekend that he was “not joking” about potentially trying to seek a third term, which the Constitution's 22nd Amendment prohibits.
