During and after a meeting with El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele on Monday, President Donald Trump proposed the idea of deporting U.S. citizens and what he called "homegrown criminals" to foreign prisons. In a tape released by the Salvadoran presidential team, Trump tells Bukele "homegrown criminals are next... You got to build about five more places."
