“We don’t have to sign deals, they have to sign deals with us,” he said. “So we can just sit down, and I’ll do this at some point over the next two weeks.”
The president went on to say the bigger issue is how his administration will set clear expectations for trade, including pricing. “We’re going to put down the price that people are going to have to pay to shop in the United States,” he said, likening the US to a “super luxury store.”
