She responded to comments made by Trump's border czar, Tom Homan, on the case: "All of the facts are gonna come out and they're gonna be on my side when it gets to that point," McIver said.
The interim U.S. attorney for New Jersey, Alina Habba, said on X of the indictment that, “While people are free to express their views for or against particular policies, they must not do so in a manner that endangers law enforcement and the communities those officers serve.
