2:13Now PlayingThe family of 16-year-old Adam Raine, who recently died by suicide, filed a lawsuit against ChatGPT's parent company OpenAI. The Raines' allege in the lawsuit that in the months leading up to Adam's death, the AI chatbot became their son's "closest confidant" and that ChatGPT "pulled Adam deeper into a dark and hopeless place." The lawsuit also included numerous chat logs between where the AI chatbot can be seen discussing suicide methods with Adam and even advising him to hide his plans from his family.
