Kennedy Jr. “Public health should be bipartisan,” Layden tells Ali Velshi, explaining that budget cuts made it “challenging to do my work.” Many don’t realize how dangerous this undermining of our public health agencies could be since Layden notes that “the work of public health often goes unnoticed until there is a major outbreak.”
