In an interview with MS NOW, Miami Archbishop Thomas Wenski explains why he and seven other members of the Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops are urging the Trump administration to pause immigration enforcement operations so that families can “celebrate Christmas at peace and without fear.”
In a statement to The Associated Press responding to the plea, White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said, “President Trump was elected based on his promise to the American people to deport criminal illegal aliens. And he’s keeping that promise.”
