Blasts were heard across the city on Saturday morning as air defenses were activated. At Dubai International Airport, the world’s busiest for international travel, passengers were rushed into train tunnels for shelter after alerts sounded. Flights were briefly suspended before operations resumed. But as Einiger reports, residents remain sheltered indoors.
