Meanwhile, the Trump administration is waging a quiet war on birth control, rewriting guidelines for a crucial family planning program. “There's become a kind of new coalition politics of opposing contraception,” says UC Davis Law Professor Mary Ziegler, “and the President is looking for a way to reach those social conservative voters who are angry with him about other things.”
