Christina Peterson was officially ruled “systemically incompetent” and removed from the bench by the Georgia Supreme Court. That should’ve been the end of the story. Instead, it got worse.
After facing dozens of ethics violations and being stripped of her judicial position, the former Douglas County probate judge was arrested outside a Buckhead nightclub and accused of striking a police officer. Charges were later dropped—but now she’s suing the City of Atlanta for $50 million.
