The Black Alliance for Just Immigration Responds to YOUR Hot Takes on Migrants | Native Land Pod

In the ongoing debate with our audience about solidarity with migrant communities, NLP hosts Angela Rye and Andrew Gillum have called in reinforcements. Attorney Nana Gyamfi is the executive director of the Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI). BAJI advocates for the nearly 10 million Black immigrants, refugees, and families living in the U.S. Gyamfi will respond to some of YOUR comments that question our hosts’ support of migrant communities.

Nana Gyamfi brings with her over three decades of service to the Movement for Black liberation, and over twenty years experience directing Black social justice organizations and networks. She is a human rights and criminal defense attorney, a professor in the Pan African Studies Department at the California State University Los Angeles, and a radio personality.
