So to honor their friendship, the football player surprised Nevaeh, who has down syndrome, by asking her to homecoming. Wesly says he wanted to make sure her first homecoming was a night to remember. Videos capturing the heartwarming moments have gone viral. NBC News’ Tom Llamas spoke with the two friends.
