Can we 3D print a crop to help reduce CO2 emissions and decrease water consumption? How can 3D printing be applied in agriculture? Bill Nye the Science Guy suggests printing 3D beads or plastic mulch that will help control evaporation and weeds. Comedian Chuck Nice notices that farmers are always able to fix their own equipment - so Bill points out how useful a 3D printer would be for their repairs. Bill sees a future where you can go to a centrally located 3D printer in your town and and print out your own tractor parts or whatever else you need.
