While the character is being used in the MCU as a vehicle for an agenda, this is old hate for Carol Danvers' Captain Marvel in the comics and the results remain the same. Sales on issue 2 of her latest volume, I have lost count, dipped 70% as expected. Well on its way to getting cancelled for I don't know, I lost count. Gotta be getting close to double digits. If anyone is still wondering what the concern is for many MCU/Comic fans. The captain Marvel in the comics is the prime example.
