as posted by the channelOnlySubs with James Lindsay, Episode 161
We're being manipulated. It's true. There are conspiracies around us, but part of the problem is that the people doing the conspiracies have realized that we are prone to thinking everything is a conspiracy, even the stuff that isn't. Therefore, conspiracy theories have gone meta, in a way. We're being pushed into more conspiratorial thinking than the real conspiratorial situation warrants, and we're going bonkers and getting things wrong. I'm feeling it strongly lately, and in this personal episode of James Lindsay OnlySubs, my subscribers-only podcast, I dive into that pretty hard. I hope you'll take a few minutes of your week to walk with me and hear what I'm saying because I really think we need to pull up from the paranoia nosedive before we crash.
