Raw Video: Susan Williams says she wanted spouse dead for giving her STD and cancer. She was convicted of the brazen crime in a Mineola, LI courtroom. (Warning: Graphic Language)

From '‘Hit mom’ found guilty of trying to have husband killed'

A jury today quickly found a Long Island mom guilty of trying to hire a hitman to kill her husband.

The verdict came shortly after jurors watched Susan Williams in an undercover video cut a deal with a “hitman” to kill her husband.

Prosecutors played numerous segments of the video for the jury.

In one, she discussed with the hitman how she wanted “to have the right expression on my face when the cops come‘’ to her house after the murder.

“I want him out of my life. I want him to disappear,” Williams said on the video. “If it’s an accident and he’s dead, I’m great… I would love to just do this and get it done.”

“If you’re taping me, I’m f–ed, if that’s the case,” Williams also laughed inside an SUV in March, in the midst of her toxic divorce.

After she handed over $500 cash deposit on the $20,000 hit, a photo of her husband and other information to the fake killer, the undercover officer made it clear one last time: “He’s not going to be living anymore, He’s going to be dead.”

Williams nodded and replied “I’ll hear from you, then?” and left the vehicle, believing she had sealed her husband’s fate

John Williams, brother of intended target Peter, called the tape “unbelievable.”

“It was gut wrenching for the family,” he said. “I can’t see the jury not convicting her on every charge. We can’t wait for this to be over. Peter can get his life back”

Nassau prosecutor Anne Donnelly told the jury that Williams wanted her husband dead so she could collect on his $1 million insurance policy, on which she had forged his signature.

“That’s what she wanted — the money and everything tied up in one, neat little package,” said Donnelly.

But defense lawyer John Carman, in his closing statement, told the jurors his client only wanted her husband beaten up and a private detective and an undercover cop took advantage of the confused woman and set her up.

Carman claimed private detective Joseph LaBella feared he would be prosecuted for discussing hurting or killing Susan Williams’ husband — so he set up the sting that led to her arrest on charges of conspiracy, criminal solicitation and forgery.

“The best defense is a strong offense,” Carman told the jurors. “If it were not so serious, it might be funny. Is she completely out of it? Is she living in a fantasy world?”

Williams faces 8 1/3 to 25 years behind bars.
