Her advice for working moms is to maximize attachment time at home. “Put all of your distractions in a basket: your computers, your iPads, your phones. Don’t pick them up ‘til your baby goes to sleep,” Komisar warned. In the United States, 27 percent of new moms go back to work after just a few weeks.
