While watching TV, homeowner Somchai Subdang noticed a "clunking sound". When he put his ear to the wall, the sound turned into a frightening hiss.
'It could have been scary if it got into the ceiling, then dropped onto me while I was sleeping," he said.
The serpent was captured returned to its rightful home: the great outdoors.
