Police were responding to reports of a robber at a Wendy's. The suspect, Cortez Washington, was armed with a pellet gun and gunfire quickly erupted. Sound technician Bryce Dion was caught in the crossfire and was fatally shot in the armpit, even though he was wearing a bulletproof vest. The footage was played in court during a hearing for a wrongful death lawsuit the Dion family has brought against the police.
