The New York Post followed one single guy on his journey toward manliness. “I didn’t have a real masculine father-like figure, so I want to find my swagger,” said 27-year-old Brian, wearing a beanie and thick-rimmed glasses. Seven months later, he found a girlfriend and a new look.

The founder of LA-based personal-development company “The Fearless Man” is obsessed with unleashing dormant masculinity — and aims to help beta men bring their alpha game when it comes to dating and confidence.
“We get a lot of guys with ‘Nice Guy Syndrome’ [and] toxic shame.” Begin tells The Post. “They’re nice to a fault, running around trying to people-please so much they don’t even know who they are anymore.”
One chronic self-shamer is Brian Elam, 27, a self-described “artistic type” who has not had a lot of sex.
“It’s always the sports guy, the captain of the team, the jocks that get all the attention from the women, whereas guys like me, we get pushed aside.” Elam tells The Post of turning to Fearless to “find my swagger.”
The Philadelphia native signed up for “The Fearless Man Live,” a two-day seminar featuring coaching, field work — and live models on which to practice newly acquired power moves.
“Brian is an analytical guy,” says Begin. “He wasn’t relating to women through his emotions … women will constantly reject [that] because they detect his level of inauthenticity.”
Enough with being so damn nice, Begin argues: “For people to want to be sexual with each other you need polarity. Most men and women today have become almost competitive for each other’s masculine and feminine and no one’s taking a polarizing role.”
Polarizing as they may be, Begin says his techniques get results — and can even spark dramatic lifestyle turnarounds. “One guy lost well over 100 pounds. He was a 27-year-old virgin — but he got himself a girlfriend.”

When we caught up with Elam immediately post-training, he was most happy to have “learned a lot about what makes masculinity and what makes confidence … and the seminar taught me a lot about where my insecurities truly lie.”
Fast-forward seven months: Elam says, “My sense of masculinity has expanded.” Now in a relationship with a “wonderful girlfriend,” he’s even been recruited to coach Fearless workshops.

Achieving Casanova status doesn’t come cheap, though. The two-day seminar is $297 — with “premium” one-on-one coaching for $2,897. For bros on a budget, $19.97 will get you the “FEARLESS With Women” eBook.
If you’re feeling particularly, uh, nice, $10,000 will secure your spot at an intensive weeklong workshop.
“There will be one woman there for every guy … It’s six hours per day and evening work too,” says Begin, who usually holds the marathon training in Bucharest, Romania, because “the cost of living there is so low.”
In addition to first-date guinea pigs, “There’s five coaches plus assistants maintaining the integrity of the room; no distractions.”
Begin insists he’s not part of the infamous pickup-artist community: “We’re really careful with emotional availability,” and the work starts within.
“If you love yourself as a man, and you love your masculine and your feminine as a man, then the world will receive you and the perfect woman will show up.”
