In this episode of 'Extraordinary People', we meet Mahrun Nisha, India’s first “lady bouncer.” Her job involves breaking up brawls and tackling out-of-hand patrons at a nightclub in New Delhi. Just like her male counterparts, she stays in fighting shape by hitting the gym.

Nisha is an inspiration to both men and women. Coming from a traditional Muslim family, her two sisters were married off as teenagers. Amazingly, she broke free and broke the glass ceiling in the process. “Girls were living in a cage of restrictions,” she said. “But now, we’re living our lives. Life feels better.”

'Extraordinary People' introduces you to some of the world's most interesting, peculiar, and extraordinary people.
