Symptoms to look out for include a high fever and eventually a rash that appears on day 3 or 4 of the illness. Most at risk are the very young, the very old and the immunocompromised. As for misinformation about the vaccine’s link to autism? “Flat-out not true,” warns Dr. Mike. More than 700 cases of measles have been reported in 2019.
