“The reality is that by the time the president-elect takes office, we’ll probably be at the sort of apex, if you will, of what we’re going through right now,” Dr. Scott Gottlieb said Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”
When he enters office on Jan. 20, Biden will have to be prepared to “hit the ground running” in order to tackle the spreading virus, Gottlieb said.
