1:08Now PlayingNew York City mayoral front-runner Andrew Yang was hospitalized Friday after suffering abdominal pain from an apparent kidney stone, his campaign said.
“After experiencing abdominal pain this morning, Andrew Yang visited an emergency room where he was diagnosed with what appears to be a kidney stone,” the campaign statement said.
Yang and his family were among the thousands of spectators to attend the Opening Day game at Yankee Stadium Thursday.
He was admitted to Mount Sinai West on Friday and later discharged. Yang’s wife, Evelyn, remained with him during his brief hospital stay.
