0:31Now PlayingChad Johnson never forgets to tip.
The former NFL wide receiver, also known as “Chad Ochocinco,” dined out at James Harden’s Thirteen Houston restaurant last weekend, where he left a $1,300 tip on a $107 bill — something Johnson’s been doing for 20 years, he told The Post.
“It’s just something I always do, regardless of where I am, regardless of what restaurant or the service, I always take care of those who are serving me,” Johnson explained.
Johnson was in Houston training with boxing champions Jermall and Jermell Charlo before the 43-year-old will take on bareknuckle fighter Brian Maxwell, 33, in a four-round exhibition bout Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
The matchup is on the Floyd Mayweather-Logal Paul pay-per-view card distributed by Showtime.
Despite training for his first-ever boxing match, Johnson was clearly in a playful mood at Harden’s eatery. At the bottom of the bill — under the outside gratuity — Johnson penned a friendly message to the Nets point guard.
