0:54Now PlayingRyan Reynolds is sick and tired of the press cashing in on his relationship with Betty White.
Earlier this week, the “Golden Girls” star, 99, complained to People that Reynolds, 45, “can’t get over his thing for me.”
Now Reynolds is defending their sacred bond.
In response to the frenzy over White’s comments, the “Deadpool” hunk tweeted that he’s “absolutely sick of the media exploiting past relationships just to drive clicks.”
The two starred in the 2009 romantic comedy with Sandra Bullock “The Proposal” where White played the Canadian actor’s hilarious and eccentric grandmother.
Reynolds also spoke to People about White’s upcoming 100th birthday and her legacy. He revealed that he has been a big fan of hers “for as long as I can remember.”
