Shirley Sourzes, the mother of suspect LaShawn McNail, granted Sheehan an exclusive interview. She told him that her son’s mental capacity had deteriorated and that he believed he was God. Through tears, the mom revealed that she regrets calling the police on that fateful day. NYC Mayor Eric Adams is now asking for federal aid to combat the violence in the city.
