3:50Now PlayingSocial media star Corey B went from being a college dropout to having millions of followers across TikTok, Facebook and Instagram. After a video spoofing his partner and her girlfriends went viral, the NYC morning radio personality says he was hooked. “That video blew up. I remember that feeling that I felt, my heart was racing,” he told The Post in this exclusive interview.
It took Corey B eight years to amass his huge following and to be able to make a living from social media. “I didn’t quit my job. I still have two other jobs besides this,” he revealed. At about $4,000 a video, Corey B pulls in four times the dough through social media compared to his annual radio salary. That said, he added this warning to the wannabes: “You gotta be okay being not good at. Like, it’s okay to fail and okay to move onto something else.”
