Are there already cracks in the Kosciuszko Bridge? That’s what a lawsuit from a competing armor company claims about the newly built bridge connecting Greenpoint in Brooklyn to Maspeth in Queens. Veteran metro desk reporter Kevin Sheehan goes behind the story in this episode of “Urban Legend.”

The protective layer in question is supposed to cover the suspension bridge’s cables in the case of of terrorist attack. Instead, the suit alleges the armor company installed nylon straps and ratcheted them down to close the gaps. Our host got up close and personal to count the straps himself.
