Post field reporter Kevin Sheehan searches for answers after Officer Muhammed Chowdhury was left with a fractured skull and no justice in sight. “What he’s seeing and what everyone is seeing is that none of us are safe.”
Sheehan interviews the wife, friends and coworkers of the victimized officer who are angry over what they say are “revolving door” criminal justice reforms in the city. Only one of the three culprits has been brought in by police and Sheehan asks officials how much will be done to actually move the case forward in a climate where “when someone is arrested, most of the time, they’re out the same day.”
