The 48-year-old British singer revealed that in October of 1997 the attack happened during an appointment with a massage therapist at her hotel in Istanbul, Turkey, according to the podcast “How To Fail.”
“Here we were, the eve of the first-ever Spice Girls show,” recalls Chisholm while appearing on the podcast to promote her new memoir, “The Sporty One,” which is to be released in the US on Sept. 27. “So I treat myself to a massage in the hotel and what happened to me, I kind of buried immediately, because there were other things to focus on.”
