Similar to – but more sophisticated than – Google’s reverse image search, this program will find anywhere your face has appeared online, whether you consented to it or not. It’s no wonder it’s giving our host “goosebumps.”
Asia Grace called it “petrifying” and she’s not the only one as users worry their images will fall into the wrong hands. PimEyes claims its purpose is to secure your identity against scammers. “My fear is people will be misusing this,” Grace said. She called the latest surge in AI tech “the wild, wild West.”
