0:36Now PlayingA Ryanair passenger was captured on video being hauled off a plane by UK cops after he was shamed by the crew over the public address system for smoking in the bathroom.
The man apparently began smoking only 20 minutes after the flight took off from Palma de Mallorca to head to Manchester Airport on Tuesday, the Manchester Evening News reported.
“One of the flight attendants could smell smoke coming from the toilet. They took all his details and then announced it to the whole plane,” a passenger told the news outlet.
“I was really pleased because they’d named and shamed the person. If you’re willing to have a smoke and put 180 souls on board lives at risk, then you should be named and shamed,” the man continued.
