YouTube Description
as posted by the channelA teenage girl who was pushed onto the subway tracks spoke candidly to The Post about the terrifying experience. On the day of her prom, Sarah Arias, 18, was headed to a hair appointment when a homeless woman allegedly grabbed her and pushed her onto the elevated tracks of the JMZ train in Woodhaven, New York. “It was very quick,” she said, adding that the shover seemed like a “regular person.”
Luckily, Arias was able to pull herself up onto the platform to avoid being struck by the approaching train. Even better, she made her hair appointment and still attended the prom that night. “Real New Yorkers don’t seem to give up, no matter what,” reporter Kevin Sheehan said. The suspect, Shemecca Wise, 26, was charged with attempted murder and assault.
