The Boeing 717 carrying 96 passengers, two pilots and three flight attendants out of Atlanta hit the ground turbulently without its front landing gear properly deployed — but there were no reported injuries.
A video of the ordeal taken by a remarkably calm traveler inside the plane shows nervously silent passengers all holding the seats in front of them and resting their heads against them while bracing for impact.
“That was not bad at all,” the man said after the plane hit the runway and scraped and skidded its way to a halt.
